In reply to A. User's post on October 16, Thanks Ben, I tried starting in clean boot, but doesn't work. For the firewall, I'm using only Windows Firewall.

And still doesn't update even when I went as far as turning off the firewall temporarily. Tried running the Fix It again, this time it says "no error detected therefore no fix applied". Windows Update still gives the same EFD message. I already checked that Windows Update Service wuauserv was not started, so I started it but still the same problem. Kind regards, Lucas. In reply to Error code: eb's post on October 20, I came across another microsoft website and downloaded to run Windows Update Diag diagcab , which uses msdt.

I'm getting the following error during Windows Live OneCare for Server update "Upgrade" button on Small Business Server RC0: "Network problems are preventing windows live onecare installation from continuing at this time. Wednesday, August 13, PM. Tony, As noted above, I know that OneCare for server will not install on a 32 bit system I'm the one who made that post.

The way I fixed this was to download the OneCare cleanup utility and run it on the server. Once the cleanup has finished install the new version of OneCare for server. This solved the problem on my server. The error that you mention appears to be a "blanket error code" as I've seen it applied to a number of different errors caused by anything but communication. If you enable logging on your firewall you'll see that it's not blocking OneCare.

Communication is not the issue. As far as OneCare running with Forefront, you are right on that it works.
